Casting this spell creates a hawk-like flaming force which shoots from the caster's hands and streaks to one target within sight of the caster. The Blue Falcon does not strike automatically, but at the caster's level and class +6. Against most targets it causes 3d3+3 fire damage. The target may save vs spells for half damage and the flames are considered to be put out immediately, otherwise the target may catch fire at the DM's discretion, or lasting 1-3 rounds and doing d2 damage each round and possibly igniting flamable or explosive materials carried by the target. This spell was created by the elderly half-elf mage Kaldabrine, who is known to have given the spell to friends and shared it with his last four apprentices. It is one of the favourite spells of his last apprentice, the elf mage Taerfirs.
