This powerful spell launches a Fireball that automatically strikes a chosen target and detonates for 10d6+10 damage, Save vs. Spells for half damage. Still aflame, the fireball flies and strikes the next nearest target within a 60-foot-radius of the original target for 9d6+9 damage. Then it strikes the next nearest target within a 60-foot-radius of the second target (including the original target) for 8d6+8 damage. Each target is given a chance to Save vs. Spells for half damage. The progression of the Chain continues until the fireball reaches a value of 1d6+1 damage. At this point the Fireball seems to pause for a moment, floating peacefully in mid-air, and then splits into 10 smaller flaming globes which fly and strike all the creatures struck by the Chain, doing 1d4 damage per globe which strikes. There is no Save for this portion of the spell.
