This spell requires the caster to sustain damage from a magical source of any type. Once cast it will last until such damage is suffered. Once such damage is taken the caster willingly forgoes a Saving Throw and accepts the full damage. At this point the spell takes effect, mystically amplifying the damage and "returning" it to the enemy caster, in the form of a silver beam of light that flies from the caster's clenched fists. The beam unerringly strikes the enemy caster, piercing all known protections/shields and deals double the damage the caster of Avasir's Return suffered.
