Outlaw Star is a stunning anime. It is based on an outlaw, Gene Starwind, and his companions--Jim, Melfina, Suzuka, Aisha and Fred. The villains are a group of pirates and a pair of brothers known as the McDougal brothers. The main mission is the find a mysterious thing called the Galactic Leyline. The heroes must go to space to find the Galactic Leyline. I honestly loved the anime. It had everything that makes a good anime--action, adventure, comedy, and even romance. The beginning is a bit slow but once it starts up, you won't want to miss it. The ending is a beautiful thing to see and even though it is a bit predictable it is still a great one. My opinion is that Outlaw Star is a must see anime. It can be seen on the Saturday block of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network at 2:30 or 1:30 (depending on your time zone).
