Heavens Wish

By:

Lonely and scared,
Alone as she seemed.
Never did she know of those who loved her.
No one told her nor did they even show their great love.
She sat alone everyday,
Silent and cold hearted,
She hated the world for hating her.
Flying in her dreams, she saw the world for what it was.
She saw the deaths of others.
She saw hatred between friends appear.
Flying as the night did fall,
The cool breeze in her hair.
She wished the world was better.
She wished for faith and love for all.
The lonely child flew home to sleep.
She crawled into bed and hugged her teddy bear.
She cried for the world and went to sleep.
When she was awaken,
She was no longer in her room.
She was lying on a fluffy cloud.
When she glanced around the surrounding area,
She saw angels singing and playing golden harps.
The wings of Heaven had taken her away from the cruel world.
An angel walked up to her and explained how she had arrived in Heaven.
She had been in a crash with her parents.
Her parents lived, for the car that hit theirs came from the rear of their van.
She had been in the back of that car.
The angels told her she might have one last look at her world,
They told her to choose the world of hatred or the world of gold.
She was given a chance to see those at her own funeral.
As she watched those there,
She noticed many arrived she hardly knew.
Classmates, old friends, family,
People she thought hated her.
She watched in sadness as those around her cried for her death.
She went back to that angel,
It had told her she could choose.
She chose home,
To Earth.
As time rewinded she watched people walk in reverse out of the funeral home.
She watched everything until the car crash.
Then it happened.
The car hit the back of her van.
She woke up in the hospital,
Injured majorly, but very alive.
All of those same people at her funeral were at her bed side.
She smiled at those who loved her and fell asleep once again.
This time when she woke up,
She was still in the hospital.
She was still on Earth.
The angel came just one last time to visit her.
It smiled gratefully as it left her to sleep.
From then on the lonely, scared, cold hearted child was no longer in hatred to the world.
She only wished that her angel would tell the world that it was okay,
For she had seen all the hatred and all the sorrow,
But she still knew that someday, it would all end and everyone would be in peace.
Someday, everyone would meet their angel in Heaven.
