In my heart I cry for you.
I say a prayer,
I make a wish.
In my soul I cry for me.
I cry for everything you've done.
Maybe it is just my broken heart,
Or perhaps you were just plain mean today.
Perhaps it was my broken heart,
Shadowing over all the good you said.
Maybe if I cry for you,
The world would change.
Maybe you would understand,
Your heart and soul.
Perhaps if I cry long enough you'll see.
Not by your eyes,
By your heart.
In my heart I cry for the two of us,
I say my prayer,
I make my wish.
I pray you notice my tears and help me.
I wish for comfort,
Not rejection.
In my soul I cry for your tears,
I cry for all you've cried for.
Perhaps I'm not quite honest here.
Or have I not reached my point.
I am placed here on earth for one reason.
I was placed here to cry for you.
Maybe my cries will reach you some day,
Perhaps that day is today.
Maybe it was just my broken heart,
Maybe you weren't that mean.
Maybe you were just honest for once.
Maybe I wasn't crying,
Perhaps you were.
In my heart and soul I say one last prayer.
Reach you,
Only tears.
Tears of regret and sorrow.
Tears of hopes and dreams.
I cry for you from the bottom of my heart.
I cry for me from only my hopes and dreams.
They are nothing anymore.
I have cried them away.
If the only price I'd have to pay was my hopes and dreams,
I'd give them to you on a golden platter.
To stop your crying.
To stop mine.
I cry for only one thing today,
Your cries.
