This life is but a shallow Dream
Each day becoming longer
Time itself becoming slower
My soul it ages silently
Underneath the wicked sky
It circles black and raining ash
Unto the life that I once had
I stand now fighting shadows
Fighting that which I cannot see
Each shadow tears upon me
Memories, past loves, and everyone itself
Tears into my soul breaking me slowly
I stand not letting go
This body slowly darkens
This world has abandoned me
All that I once was, a memory
For no-one to unlock
For my form is now a shadow
My memories remain
My mind it remains
I stand now flowing slowly
Vanishing from mind
For I am the shadow that lurks
Whenever you turn around.
