Alone
By:
As I gaze upon the ocean, I see a dismal sea of red. Only death awaits me there. Across the sea is another as I, Waiting Hoping, Dreaming, the same dismal thoughts as I. For now that you take my life, I know only truth at my end. Alone, Afraid come to me, Goddess of sanctity. From where I am to where I shall go, No one sees this island so dreary. My life, my death, come to me, I wish upon earth and Sky. I wish to you my faithful friend, To be here at my dismal end. As I sit here alone and afraid, I hold you with me for all eternity. With darkness you come, With light I fear. As my end is now, I feel relieved.
