Oh Butterfly

Oh Butterfly, Sing a lullaby about a sad girl trying to be loved in a cruel world, Sing a song of lifeless love that no one could understand Spread your wings so that you may fly though my dreams Keep me safe and let none harm your flight Oh butterfly, Life is unfair; I feel the pain of betrayal by those who once knew me so well How can my life put me though such hell? Sometimes I just want to yell Destiny is so cruel and yet fate is crueler But with out the bad times I'd never appreciate the good times Oh butterfly, Hold me gently against your chest protect me from my dreams, And from myself I hide in fear from the feeling of hurt and pain, But will you cry for me when you hear my story? Or will you just walk away leaving me to die? Oh butterfly, My back was against the wall 'til I almost stumbled and fell Batting wings in a broken dream, I stand still as I watch life fly by Waiting for the day to come when my prince charming well save me But how can you be sure when you don't believe in love Oh butterfly
