The Day of a Royal Family
By:
The sun rises with the mist His Majesty wakes from a restless sleep Before he leaves he gives his Queen a single kiss His precious jewels still safe in their world of dreams The Queen wakes up to her own land of stress She excepts these tasks That she has no choice but to address And does it with such grace The gems are taken from the vault of imagination Taken to a place which when they return they will be new But their hearts are filled with anticipation To return to their own worlds The royal family sits to the evening meal And eat the food that the Lord gave So that their bodies may be healed Discussing the troubles and pleasures of that day The sun falls from the sky And the King tells a story Of a boy that would always lie Hoping to tuck away his jewels safely The King and his wife lay down to bed Hoping the next day will bring more treasures than the last Praying that the stones of their hearts are safely hid That's the typical day of a royal American family
