Stuck In the past

stuck in the past
holding on to everything as if it were glass
trying to make sure nothing would break
stuck in the past i dont want to move
if i do i could change everything
oh no i moved
now everything has change
but it changed with out me
im stuck in the past
wanting hoping that everything will be the same
as it once was
i lost her my friend
just like every one else
stuck in the past
watching every one change
as they move toward the future
all their dreams are coming true
but im still waiting for everything
to go back to the way it was
but i now see it was not to be
i dont want to leave this past
that is so fimilar to me
so i watch them from the past
just protecting their future ....
