This minor magical item is in the form of a plain, silver ball earring. It must be worn in the character's ear, which must be able to hear, for the Whisperer to work correctly. It grants the following powers: a) It will transmit anything said about the wearer to him within a 120-foot-radius. The wearer can choose to tune out the effect at will. b) Further, it will translate the words into a language the wearer knows if they are spoken in a different language.
