AD&D 2nd Edition » Magical ItemsArmor of the Juggernaut This is a suit of full field plate with an enchantment of +6 and has a bloody crimson hue to it. The armor will grow or shrink to fit any size wearer and is only as encumbering as leather armor. The armor has a high density and is immune to any type of piercing weapon. Blunt weapons do only half damage unless its a magical weapon then it will do full damage. The armor also offers 13% magic resistance to all forms of magic both hostile and beneficial. Some weapons that hit the armor may not case damage but may knock the wearer down, a giant hitting the wearer with a non-magical club wont do full damage but it can knock the wearer down or back a few feet. Once a week the armor can create a specialized globe of invulnerability around the wearer that is only one inch away from his/her skin instead of having a large diameter. |
