This Ioun stone functions in all the same ways as other stones (listed in the AD&D dungeons masters guide). Once the stone is circling the owners head it offers him the ability cast healing spells as though he were a priest. The character can cast any healing spell listed in the PHB or Priest Spell Compendiums. The level of the spell is subtracted from the characters constitution. The character can never go below zero constitution but the constitution can be divided up to cast multiple spells. EXAMPLE A character with a 13 con casts Cure Light Wounds his Con becomes 12 but only for determining the number of healing spells he can cast. This stone is a sparkling purple prism.
