If a golem is present when the rod is used it will fall under the command of the rod user. For each golem a different charge cost is expended. Flesh Golem - 2 charges Clay Golem - 3 charges Glass Golem - 4 charges Stone Golem - 6 charges Gargoyle Golem - 8 charges Iron Golem - 10 charges Some golems are worth taking control of such as the; Bone, Doll, Scarecrow, Necrofidius and the variant golems. These golems are generally used to perform a certain task set forth by their creator. The golems listed above are generally categorized as mindless automatons. The DM is always at discretion as to what golem can be controlled and what can't, it should be noted that if a golem can't be controlled the charges are not wasted. This rod can be recharged by a priest or mage that is able to make golems, it can also be used by any class. |
