Gabrielle's Wand of Undead Rapprochement
Rod, Staff or Wand
By:

This slender wand is usually made from polished ironwood, with a tracery of mithril runes running up and down its length. It is perhaps 1-foot-long and as thick as a human's thumb. Powers:

  • When activated (at the cost of one charge) this Wand draws upon the power of the positive material plane and calls forth a ray of sparkling, silver light. The ray has a range of 150 feet and will automatically strike unless the target creature Saves vs. Spells. If such a Save is made the ray misses and is treated as a grenade-like missile for hit determination. Most creatures struck by the ray must Save vs. Spells a second time or be blinded for 10 rounds. The true function of the ray, however, is its use against undead, creatures of the lower planes, and those drawing power from the Negative Material Plane or the Plane of Shadow. Such creatures will take 5d4+5 points of damage from the ray. Affected creatures may Save vs. Spell for half damage.
  • When activated (at the cost of one charge) this Wand can discharge special Magic Missiles. Instead of magical energy, the Missiles are composed of pure light drawn from the Quasi elemental Plane of Radiance. For each charge expended the Wand can conjure 1d4+15 Missiles. These Missiles fly from the Wand to automatically strike their target. If the target makes its Saving Throw it suffers only half damage. Each Missile does 1d4+1 damage to living creatures. Undead must Save vs. Rods or suffer maximum double damage.
  • The Wand has 100 charges and may be recharged.
